Previous project experience

Experience gained across major civil projects.

The following reflects Liam Reid's experience while employed by other organisations prior to establishing IQTS. These projects were not delivered by IQTS.

01

Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route

Scotland · Major road infrastructure

At the time, the £745 million AWPR/B-T was one of the largest road construction projects underway in Europe. The 58-kilometre route included 12 junctions, major crossings of the Rivers Dee and Don and more than 100 structures. Liam worked as a laboratory supervisor in one of three on-site laboratories, supporting construction materials testing and quality control across the project.

02

Brisbane Airport New Parallel Runway

Queensland · Aviation infrastructure

A $1.1 billion airport expansion centred on a 3.3-kilometre runway, 12 kilometres of taxiways and extensive ground improvement, earthworks and airfield pavements. Liam's previous role included construction materials testing experience on the project.

03

Inland Rail — Parkes to Narromine

New South Wales · Rail infrastructure

The first completed section of Inland Rail involved rebuilding and upgrading 98.4 kilometres of existing track and constructing the 5.3-kilometre North West Connection near Parkes. Liam worked as the laboratory supervisor on the project, coordinating the site testing teams and supporting the delivery of construction materials testing across the works.
